Al igual que mi anterior CD "Caos Sensible", mi nueva obra "Cielo Profundo"
(CP) está grabado en casa con un equipo modesto pero eficaz gracias a las
nuevas tecnologías. En CP las guitarras acústicas son las protagonistas.
Seguramente muchos de los seguidores del mal llamado "rock sinfónico",
asocian guitarra acústica con ambientes y autores específicos, sin embargo
el enfoque es un poquito más "ácido", por decirlo de alguna manera, de lo
que pudieran esperar aquellos que me conocen.
Los años en Guitar Craft (GC) y la influencia que ello implica es bastante
evidente, aunque sin perder la intención de crear algo personal. La
principal afinación en las guitarras de CP es la NST (New Standard Tunning)
de la escuela, o sea DO SOL RE LA MI SOL.
Ya de por sí, dicha afinación, diferente de la habitual, establece una
cierta invocación a estructuras y frases reconocibles en GC.
Los temas que podéis encontrar en CP siguen manteniendo cierto eclecticismo
musical: desde temas con reminiscencias clásicas hasta algún otro que
recuerda el género "Rag Time", pasando por piezas más reconocibles dentro
del "rock sinfónico" como "Reptiles", un tema de 7 minutos que ha recibido
excelentes críticas de todos aquellos... ¡que han llegado hasta ese punto
del CD para oirlo!
No es un disco fácil de escuchar, exige del oyente cierta predisposición,
apertura de mente y la intención de realizar varias escuchas para captar los
matices, las diferentes líneas argumentales y esas melodías "escondidas" que
llegarán a descubrir los amantes de la música. Sin embargo, siempre se
confía en encontrar esas fibras sensibles de todo aquel que ha ido más allá
de lo convencional y que siempre está a la busqueda de nuevos conceptos en
el arte.

As in my former CD "Caos Sensible", this new work "Cielo Profundo"
(CP) is recorded at home with a modest yet effective equipment thnks to the
new digital technologies. In CP acoustic guitars take the lead role. Maybe
most of the bad-named "symphonic rock" associate acoustic guitar with
specific ambients and authors, although the approach here is more "acid"
than what people that know me could expect from me.
The influence of the years in Guitar Craft (GC) is rather evident, although
trying to create something personal. Main tunning in CP is the New Standard
Tunning of GC, namely C G D A E G. This unusual tuning establish new and
innivative structures and phrases.
Tracks in CP are plenty of musical eclecticism: from classical influences
to even "rag time" deja-vus. Other are more "rock-symphonic" like
"Reptiles", a 7 minutes track that has received very good critics from those
who have reached this point in the CD!
It is not an easy CD to be heard. It demands an effort from the listener, an
open mind and the intention of emplying a number of listenings in order to
catch the nuances, the plot lines, and the "hidden" melodies that can be
discovered by music lovers. Nevertheless I always try to find that sensitive
fibers from everyone that likes to go beyond conventionalisms, trying to
search for new art concepts.
