"Amazing Sounds form The Forbidden Planet" es el primer CD de lo que
podría llamarse Project más que grupo propiamente. Nace del
empeño de Mr. Miguel A. Ferro, teclista bilbaino, que tras sus
decepcionantes experiencias en grupos como Vorágine (AOR?) y
Utópolis (onda Dream Theater) y posponiendo su proyecto "Millenia"
con el bajista J.I. Antón, animado por Norberto Ramos se ponen
mano a mano a preparar un CD del que sólo tenían
claras dos cosas: que se iba a grabar de forma completamente independiente
y carente de gastos y que sería rock sinfónico-progresivo.
Partiendo sobre todo de temas propios de Miguel A. Ferro y de alguna
improvisación a cuenta de los queridos sonidos analógicos de
Norberto Ramos, se programaron todos los midis, incluidas las
baterías
(nunca nos planteamos grabar baterías de verdad por dos razones: se
necesita un buen batería y un estudio... imposible).
Un disco primerizo pero bonito e interesante. Y sin olvidar que si
algún día grabamos el segundo y lo vendemos mejor... este
primer trabajo se revalorizará seguro!!!
Por ahora, tras el descalabro del intento de distribución en las
principales marcas, los vendemos directamente desde NORBERSOUNDS, en
edición numerada de 100 ejemplares con los garabatos manuscritos de
los perpetradores.

"Amazing Sounds form The Forbidden Planet" is the first CD of what can
be called a Project rather than a band. It arose from the will of Mr.
Miguel A. Ferro, a keyboardist from Bilbao, that after some disappointing
experiences in bands like Vorágine (AOR?) and Utópolis (Dream
Theater-like) and delaying other project ("Millenia") with the bassist J.I.
Antón, he started working with Norberto Ramos in a CD to which only
two things were clear: it will be recorded independently and cost-free, and
it will be symphonic-progressive rock. Starting mainly from campositions by
Miguel A. Ferro and some jamming from the beloved analogic sounds of
Norberto
Ramos, the midis were programmed, included percussions (we never planned
to record with real drummers for two reasons: a very good one is needed
and a studio... imposible). The result is a beginners record but nice and
interesting. Think that if the second one is eventually recorded and it's
a best seller, this first work will a very high value collector's piece!!!
Right now, after the main labels refused to distribute this one we ourselves
sell it from NORBERSOUNDS, in limited numbered edition of 100 issues with
the autographs of the performers.
