 Opinions and other informations:

OCTOBER EQUUS is a rock quartet that play intrumental compositions of a high complexity. Their style is fed with influences from XX century academic music (Bartok, Stravinsky, Varese, Messiaen...), progressive rock from the 70s (King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator, Zappa), jazz from 60s and 70s (Ornette Coleman, Monk, Mingus, Dolphy...), and Rock In Opposition (Henry Cow, Art Bears, Univers Zero, Sammla Mammas Manna...). The realms are clear but they also have a vocation of modernity. (from the band's website)
