Los madrileños Maroon(ed) que ya nos sorprendieran en 1998 con un magnífico álbum de debut titulado "Lewis Sandman Dick's Introspective Experiences" han vuelto tras tres años de composicion a auto producir y editar una maqueta titulada "The Dream Reaver", la cual inconprensiblemente está sin editar oficialmente por falta de discográfica. "The Dream Reaver" es una nueva obra conceptual dividida en tres partes y en 13 subtemas, donde, a diferencia de su anterior trabajo, suenan más sinfónicos pero sin olvidar en ningún instante ese sonido de los 70's y su faceta hard rock que les caracteriza. Destaca la voz soul de su letrista y cantante Javier Rellán y la presencia de un nuevo guitarra que hace que el grupo gane en matices en una composición nada fácil sino, al contrario, compleja y muy elaborada. Pero lo que más se agradece es que cuenta con algo que ya creía imposible encontrar en grupos espanyoles, unas enormes canciones con inspiradas melodías.

This band from Madrid surprised us already in 1998 with a magnificient debut album named "Lewis Sandman Dick's Introspective Experiences". Now they are back after three years of composition with a self-produced demo, not officially released due to an incomprensible lack of label. "The Dream Reaver" is a new concept work, divided into three parts and 13 subparts, where, unlike their prior work, they sound more symphonic without leaving the hard rock side. They have the soul voice of their writer and singer Javier Rellán and the presence of a new secong guitarrist, providing the band with new nuances in complex and elaborated compositions. But the best of all is something sometimes difficult to find in other spanish bands: good and inspired melodies.
