Transducens
Transducens or Traducens is Latin for "the one that brings over or across, transposes, transfers", bringing about not only images of translation and language processing, but also of finite-state machines or transducers, and includes the Latin root duc (proto-Indoeuropean *duk-, lead, bring, drive), which is also found in (computer-assisted) education, (grammar) induction, etc.
